Hospitality Workshop

Eight students, board and community members met in the Dave Columbo Library on July 21st to share stories about how Gaia House has touched their lives and how they first decided to come in our door. The themes of social action, peace, dancing and eating together were touched on. We concluded that Gaia House has been a place of hospitality since it opened in 1961 at its current location and even before.

One attendee, Acaisha Buffo, remarked "Gaia House is always changing, be it with the people who stop by, the events that are offered, or the interior decorations. But the one thing that has never faltered is what familiars and strangers alike agree on: 'I am home'."
