Welcome to Gaia House Interfaith Center
Gaia House Interfaith Center, located on the corner of Illinois and Grand at the hub of Southern Illinois University Carbondale, is a progressively oriented, multi-faith partnership. GHIC is a gathering place where students and the larger community can develop a spiritual awareness that integrates peace, justice and ecological sustainability.
With a 67-year tradition of serving SIUC students and the community, we provide shared space for faith and social justice groups to work together to create a better world. Our ever-evolving slate of programs and special events addresses leading-edge issues of our times – all in a comfortable, inclusive setting.
